Academy of the Arts Dinner Honoring Marty and Michele Cohen

Join us for the 36th annual Academy of the Arts Dinner on Monday, March 14, 2022, at Cipriani 42nd Street to celebrate those who champion Guild Hall’s dynamic mission as an inventive, artist-driven institution. The Academy of the Arts is a community of accomplished artists who lend their expertise and talents to our storied institution.

This unmissable evening will honor Board Chairman Marty Cohen and Michele Cohen for their long-standing commitment and generosity to Guild Hall.

We will also recognize the newest inductees to our prestigious Academy of the Arts: Barry Bergdoll, Renee Cox, Cornelius Eady, Bran Ferren, RoseLee Goldberg, Rashid Johnson, Erik Larson, Robert Longo, Julianne Moore, Questlove, Ugo Rondinone, Frank Wimberley, and Lucy Winton.

35th Academy of the Arts Achievement Awards Dinner

Guild Hall has named the recipients of the 35th Academy of the Arts Achievement Awards. This year’s honorees are Dorothea Rockburne for Visual Arts presented by Richard Armstrong, Salman Rushdie for Literary Arts presented by Taryn Simon, Barry Sonnenfeld for Performing Arts presented by Kelly Ripa, and Ted Hartley will receive the Special Award for Leadership and Philanthropy, presented by Alec Baldwin. The evening will be hosted by Academy of the Arts President Eric Fischl, and emceed by Vogue theater critic Adam Green.

2019 Academy of the Arts Achievement Awards Dinner

Guild Hall has named the recipients of the 34th Academy of the Arts Achievement Awards. This year’s honorees are Alice Aycock for Visual Arts presented by Adam Weinberg, Carter Burwell for Performing Arts presented by Ethan Coen, and Bob Colacello for Literary Arts presented by Linda Yablonsky and Patti Askwith Kenner will receive the Special Award for Leadership and Philanthropy. The evening host is Eric Fischl and the emcee is Adam Green.
