SOLE Defined’s The Pulse is an immersive, high-energy performance that invites audiences of all ages to move, clap, and join in the fun. Rooted in African Diasporic dance traditions, the experience takes families on a lively, polyrhythmic journey featuring Tap Dance, Body Percussion, Sand Dance, and interactive moments that bring everyone into the rhythm together.

KIDFEST: ILL-ABILITIES

“A powerful force on the hip-hop dance stage” — The Guardian

Blending high-level breakin’, music, and live audience interaction, ILL-Abilities  goes beyond performance. Each dancer shares their unique journey, offering insight into their lived experiences as differently-abled artists, while challenging perceptions of disability and redefining what is possible.

With performances in over 25 countries and a global reach of more than one million people, ILL-Abilities is known for its powerful combination of artistry and message. The name “ILL” comes from hip-hop culture, meaning extraordinary—reflecting the crew’s commitment to excellence, creativity, and positive impact.

Specifically created for Guild Hall audiences, this presentation of ILL-Abilities offers an intimate and interactive experience featuring three dancers and a DJ from the internationally acclaimed crew. Stripping down the scale while deepening the connection, this format brings audiences closer to the artists, their movement, and their personal stories.

This is more than a show—it’s a shared experience that invites audiences to engage, reflect, and leave inspired by the limitless potential within every individual.

KIDFEST: STORY PIRATES LIVE

Get ready for Story Pirates Live, featuring fan-favorite songs from the multi-award winning The Story Pirates Podcast and improvised sketch comedy based on ideas from kids in the audience. The Story Pirates believe that all kids are creative geniuses, and they’re ready to prove it with their fast-paced, hilarious and inspiring show for the whole family. Featuring Eric from The Story Pirates Podcast, plus a cast of the funniest Story Pirate actors, singers, and comedians around. 

The Story Pirates, best known for their flagship podcast with more than 100 million downloads, are a family media company that amplifies the words and ideas of kids. The award-winning The Story Pirates Podcast takes stories submitted by kids and turns them into sketch comedy and songs with help from celebrity guests like Kristen Bell, John Oliver, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Sara Bareilles, Seth Meyers, and more.

KIDFEST: HUMAN – NEHPRII AMENII

“At the Bottom of the Ocean, where the darkness meets the stars, the Octopus will tell the story of a thing once called the human being…”

In a distant future where humans are gone, an octopus faces a powerful question: could it give one of its three hearts to help create a new kind of human—one that is kinder, more connected, and more in tune with the world?

Told through the windows of a sunken submarine, HUMAN invites audiences on an underwater journey filled with wonder, imagination, and discovery. Using striking visuals, inventive puppetry, dance, original music, and African Diasporic storytelling, the piece unfolds through the eyes of ocean creatures trying to understand who we once were—and who we might become.

HUMAN is a 60-minute interactive performance for the whole family, encouraging audiences of all ages to reflect on connection, care, and what it truly means to be human.

Set sail on the adventure of a lifetime with Pirate Song, a whimsical musical puppet show filled with heart, humor, and discovery. In a world where dreams set sail and magic fills the air, Paulette the Pirate Princess and her faithful dog Waffle embark on a journey around the world in search of something truly special, her very own song.

For generations, Paulette’s family have sung the same old pirate song. But Paulette longs for something more. Determined to discover her own voice, she and Waffle set off on an unforgettable voyage, meeting remarkable friends along the way. A giraffe in Africa shares a new perspective on seeing the world. In Australia, a quirky koala playing the didgeridoo teaches Paulette to celebrate what makes each of us wonderfully different. A wise dragon in Japan reveals how our past can guide our future, while a vibrant toucan in Brazil encourages Paulette to trust her inner spirit.

Through music, laughter, and colorful characters, Paulette discovers that her song may have been with her all along, the song of curiosity, courage, and adventure. With her inner song guiding her, Paulette inspires audiences to celebrate their own unique voice and the beauty of cultures around the world.

KIDFEST: SONIA DE LOS SANTOS

Join Sonia De Los Santos for a joyful, high-energy family concert filled with music, storytelling, and audience participation.

Born in Monterrey, Mexico and now based in New York, Sonia creates vibrant, bilingual performances that get audiences singing, clapping, and dancing along. Blending Latin American rhythms with North American folk, her songs celebrate friendship, nature, and her experiences growing up in Mexico and making a home in the United States. Sung in both English and Spanish, her music invites children and adults alike to connect across cultures in a fun, welcoming environment.

A former member of the Grammy Award–winning group Dan Zanes and Friends, Sonia brings warmth, humor, and heart to every performance—creating an unforgettable shared experience for the whole family.
