FINNEGANS FOURSOME SCREENING & CONVERSATION WITH ED BURNS

Presented by Walter Hagen Golf Apparel

Two rival brothers and their adult children head to Ireland to honor their late father’s final wish: scattering his ashes on the coastal golf course he adored. What starts as a clash of egos, old grudges, and comic misadventures becomes a week of unlikely bonding and hard-won warmth. Along the way, the Finnegans learn that family—like golf—takes patience, forgiveness, and a willingness to play through the rough.

The screening will be followed by an audience Q&A with writer/director/actor, Edward Burns.

THE CENTER AT WEST PARK PRESENTS: NETWORK!

Ticket on sale date to be announced.

Presented by The Center at West Park

The Center at West Park returns to Guild Hall with a follow-up to last year’s sold-out celebrity benefit: a staged reading of the screenplay of the award-winning 1987 film Network!

In Network, a television network cynically exploits a former anchor’s ravings and revelations about mass media for its own profit, but finds that his message may be difficult to control. CWP originally presented Network in April 2024 in NYC with a cast that included Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Fisher Stevens, Julianna Marguiles, and Keegan-Michael Key, and now will bring the reading to East Hampton for the first time with a celebrity cast to be announced.

Proceeds from the event will support efforts to preserve the Landmark West Park Presbyterian Church on Manhattan’s Upper West Side and its seven unique community spaces under one roof as a hub of affordability, accessibility, inclusivity, and diversity for NYC and beyond.

ON OUR TOES IN THE HAMPTONS: BUILDING OUR HEAVEN

Co-Presented by the Coalition for African Americans in the Performing Arts (CAAPA) and The National Black Theatre (NBT)

On Our Toes in The Hamptons: Building Our Heaven is an interdisciplinary performance exploring the spiritual and artistic evolution of Black classical music. Blending live music and spoken word, the program centers Black music as a space of resilience, transcendence, and cultural expression.

Co-presented by CAAPA and The National Black Theatre, the performance features pianist and composer Damien Sneed with musicians from The Orchestra for Tomorrow, alongside soprano Angela Renee Simpson, bass Solomon Howard, poet Mahogany L. Browne, and Evidence Dance Company.

Together, these artists traverse classical repertoire, African American sacred traditions, jazz influences, and poetry, creating a rich, immersive experience that honors the legacy and ongoing evolution of Black artistry across generations.
