Steve Shaughnessy attended Arizona State University and Long Island University and holds degrees in music and elementary education. In addition to being very active in musical theater, he performs with the East End Chamber Players and the South Fork Chamber Orchestra as well as playing jazz with a number of groups . He teaches orchestra in the East Hampton Schools.
