Kirk Bixby is an American puppeteer, director, playwright, and lyricist. He is the creator and star of the original web-series Oscar and Herman Play Inside!, and Co-Creator of Witch Wartsmith’s Halloween Spooktacular. His original songs can be heard in Three Pigs and Little Red at the Puppet Co Playhouse, as well as many of Waffle and Friends adventures with Up In Arms. Kirk’s custom puppets can be seen live at Wildlife Conservation Society zoos and aquariums. Notable performance credits include: ‘Mr. Popper’ on the first national tour of Popper’s Penguins, ‘Mr. Conductor’ on the first national tour of Jim Henson’s Dinosaur Train Live!, and official voice & performer for the one and only Scooby Doo in Warner Bros. Scooby Doo Live!. Kirk is the founder of Proper Puppet Productions. He currently resides in Salem, MA where he can often be seen amusing his adorable black cat, also named Salem.
