Liisi LaFontaine is a Los Angeles Native who has been performing as long as she can remember. She attended the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts where she majored in voice, and started a theatre company with her sister, where they put up multiple shows including RENT. After graduating, she attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston, majoring in Vocal performance. Once returning back to Los Angeles, she worked as Princess Tiana in a musical at Disneyland before being cast in a regional tour of “Dreamgirls’ that went to Japan. She then originated the role of Deena Jones in Dreamgirls on the West End in London fora year. During that run, she released her first studio EP, titled Golden, and is currently working on new music. She played the role of the iconic Whitney Houston in the broadway bound musical, Born For This, in Boston this past summer. Once moving to New York, she participated in several concerts and readings, including Gun and Powder art the NAMT New Musicals Festival, TRIAL, at the Vineyard Theatre and the Amen Corner directed by Billy Porter.
