Christopher Palmieri is a puppeteer and actor who has been living and working in New York City for the past ten years. A graduate from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, his work in puppetry, acting, and event entertainment have allowed him to perform on national television, and on stage all over the NYC area. Highlights from Chris’ puppetry work include starring in the Emmy-nominated preschool series Snug’s House, and being featured on television shows such as Today, Fox and Friends, PIX11 Morning News, Cake Boss, Moms with Attitude, Celebrity Wife Swap, MTV’s Story Pig, The CBS Morning News, and Un Nuevo Dia. Chris has worked with the Jim Henson Company on the first national tour of Dinosaur Train Live: Buddy’s Big Adventure under director John Tartaglia. Chris joined Teatro SEA for a two week engagement of Martina, the Little Roach / La Cucarachita Martina at the Center for Puppetry Arts in Atlanta, GA. He has also performed in Teatro SEA’s production “Legends of the Enchanted Treasure / Las Leyendas del Cofre Encantado.” Chris’s stage credits include “Abominable Fancy”, “The Butterfingers Angel and Laughter”, the national tour of Box Out Bullying, voicing various characters in Krampusnacht, a staged radio play, and “The History of Toys”. In addition to performing, Chris has designed and built puppets for many film and stage productions. Chris can currently be seen on Snug’s House weekday mornings from 8am-3pm on Universal Kids.
