Mi trayectoria artística comenzó gracias a mi abuelo, quien fue el primero en reconocer mi talento para el fútbol y me obsequió mi primer balón a los cinco años. Aquel regalo se convirtió en mi posesión más preciada; tal era mi pasión que llegaba a la escuela una hora antes de que iniciaran las clases solo para jugar con mis compañeros. Gracias a esa dedicación, logré convertirme en futbolista profesional; lamentablemente, una lesión de rodilla a temprana edad truncó mi carrera deportiva. Fue un periodo difícil, pero con el tiempo encontré un nuevo camino trabajando como operador de maquinaria pesada.
En ese entorno conocí a dos compañeros músicos, Juan y Cristian, quienes integraban un grupo de cumbia. Tras escucharme cantar, me invitaron a un ensayo. Aunque hubo dudas iniciales, Juan creyó en mi potencial y me motivó a seguir practicando. Mi vida cambió definitivamente tras ganar un concurso de karaoke en Viña del Mar; la ovación del público me brindó una sensación de plenitud que me hizo comprender que mi verdadero destino estaba en la música. Desde entonces, he tenido el honor de participar en eventos importantes tanto en Chile como en los Estados Unidos. Hoy, agradezco a Dios por este talento y por permitirme estar en el lugar correcto para compartir mi arte.
My journey began with my grandfather, who first discovered my athletic potential and gifted me my first football at the age of five. That ball quickly became my favorite toy; my passion for the sport was so great that I would arrive at school an hour before classes began just to play with my peers. This dedication eventually led me to a professional football career, which was unfortunately cut short by a knee injury at a very young age. Though retiring was a painful experience, I eventually transitioned into a new chapter working as a heavy machinery operator.
It was in this role that I met two musicians, Juan and Cristian, who were part of a cumbia group. After hearing me sing, they invited me to a rehearsal. While there was some initial skepticism, Juan believed in my talent and encouraged me to refine my craft. A turning point occurred when Juan invited me to a karaoke competition in Viña del Mar, where I took first place. The sensation of the audience’s applause was life-changing; it was in that moment I realized my true calling. Since then, I have performed at major events in both Chile and the United States. I believe that through God’s grace, I have been placed on the right path to showcase the talent I have been given and to do what I truly love.
