For 30 years, The 24 Hour Plays has brought together acclaimed artists from Broadway, film, television, music, and comedy for one of theater’s most exhilarating creative challenges: write, rehearse, and perform brand-new plays in just 24 hours.
Created exclusively for Guild Hall audiences, this East Hampton edition features Directors Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother), Pippin Parker (Betrayed), Thomas Caruso (Emojiland) and Jennifer Holmes (Global Empowerment Theatre); Actors David Burtka (Elle), Sophie Sumner (Killington), Ronald Guttman (Mad Men), Tovah Feldshuh (Nobody Wants This), Howard McGillin (The Phantom of the Opera), Jaime Rosenstein (Sunday in the Park with George), Lois Robbins (One Life to Live), William Popp (Bros), Gregg Bello (The Thomas Crown Affair), Rebecca Salzhauer (I’m So Happy for You), Alifair Burke (The Better Sister), Gideon Scott (A Series of Unfortunate Events), and James Wilkie Broderick (Open House); Playwrights Amanda Green (Hands on a Hard Body), Josh Koenigsberg (Orange is the New Black), Sofia Alvarez (To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before), and Ron Carlivati (Days of Our Lives); musical guest Max Vanderbeek and host Colin Cosell.
