ART SOCIAL: VALENTINE’S CARD-MAKING

WITH JULIA NUNEZ KEARNS

Forget that panicked trip to the drugstore on February 13 to get what is left of the Valentine’s Day cards, and come make your own, more meaningful greetings for your loved ones. East Hampton Artist Julia Nunez Kearns will provide line drawings, lettering/text blocks, and found photos (or bring your own), and participants will use the blocks to create custom card compositions on heavyweight cardstock or watercolor paper, applying eucalyptus oil* to burnish the image.  All materials are included.

$50 ($45 for Members)

Admission includes wine and refreshments!


Art Social is a monthly gathering where attendees enter into a supportive and judgment-free session of art/craftmaking and socializing. Bring your friends and expect to make new ones while tapping into your creative selves. Workshops will be led by experts in their practice, and the projects are designed to be easily and enjoyably accomplished by all skill levels.

*Image transfer using pure eucalyptus oil is considered a non-toxic method safe for indoor use in a well-ventilated areas. If you are sensitive to strong smells, it is recommended to bring a mask.
