Join us for an unforgettable evening of music and storytelling as part of the 2026 G.E. Smith’s PORTRAITS series, featuring legendary guitarist and bandleader G.E. Smith with a special guest artist to be announced.
Known for his work with Bob Dylan, Hall & Oates, and as bandleader for Saturday Night Live, Smith hosts each PORTRAITS performance as a one-of-a-kind musical conversation. In this intimate setting, he welcomes acclaimed artists from across the musical world to explore the songs, influences, and experiences that have shaped their creative journeys.
Blending live performance with candid discussion, the evening unfolds naturally as Smith and his guest share music, swap stories from the road and studio, and reflect on the moments that defined their artistry. From spontaneous collaborations to unexpected interpretations of beloved songs, every performance offers audiences a rare glimpse inside the creative process.
Created by Taylor Barton and G.E. Smith, PORTRAITS is a uniquely personal concert series celebrating the craft of musicianship through connection, curiosity, and conversation—ensuring that no two evenings are ever the same.
