On March 5, 2012, Guild Hall celebrated the 27th Annual Guild Hall Academy of the Arts Lifetime Achievement Awards at the St. Regis Hotel in New York City. Marshall Brickman hosted the evening, which honored Jon Robin Baitz for the Literary Arts, Bruce Weber for the Visual Arts, Laurie Anderson for the Performing Arts, and Dina Merrill for Leadership & Philanthropic Endeavors. Guest presenters included Eric Fischl, China Machado, Lou Reed and Ted Hartley.
