Fresh from a sold-out benefit at Avery Fisher and a dinner that seated 1,200, join Audra McDonald for an intimate performance and benefit dinner hosted at a private home in East Hampton Village. Enjoy the first dinner in the Hamptons to be prepared by two of Sweden’s best and brightest chefs Malin Söderström of Restaurangen Moderna Museet, Stockholm and Christian Hellberg of Griffins’ Steakhouse Extraordinaire, Stockholm who will provide an array of Scandinavian flavors to a traditional Hamptons menu. The courses will be paired with Long Island wine and will spotlight fresh regional produce. There will be a silent auction featuring unique Swedish experiences!
A Broadway legend, McDonald returns to the concert stage after four seasons on the hit ABC television series Private Practice and a record-tying fifth Tony Award® win for her unforgettable performance in The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess. Joined by a jazz ensemble, the two-time Grammy Award®-winner will perform an intimate evening of favorite show tunes, classic songs from the movies, and original pieces written especially for this extraordinary artist who is at the height of her expressive powers.

She was responsible for the grand Nobel Dinner in 2011 and has studied at the Culinary Institute of America in N.Y.

Christian won the Swedish Chef of the Year Award in 2001 and is a popular tv personality, having hosted a variety of tv shows as well as participating in Chefs’ Fight 2012, along with seven other renowned chefs. Christian is now Executive Chef at top-rated steakhouse Griffins’ Steakhouse Extraordinaire.
